Marriage is a sacred institution instituted by God Himself. it is that singular university according to societal and seemingly factual connotations that one does not graduate. while the men do not really seem to have much troubles along these lines - even as women have seemingly become "cheaper commodities" by the day - there leaves a vacuum to be filled and a question to answer, " ARE YOU REALLY READY FOR MARRIAGE?" We live in a society where almost all the waking, working and sleeping thoughts of every sister is to get married - fast! but getting married should not be an issue, I think. there is even more to it - before the knot is tied.
How prepared are you for this marriage? at age 25, you are still thinking and behaving like an early teen? how prepared are you for this marriage? at age 25 you still do not know what you want in life, how prepared are you for this marriage? some ladies CANNOT even picture themselves as becoming something on their own before 28! too bad.
Some would foolishly say, "I'm just waiting for my husband" rubbish!! rubbish!! utter nonsense!!! so what happens to your life before the man comes? you mean you'll spend your whole life waiting for someone's success? is that a real human being created by God? who is to blame for this kind of a situation?
At age 25 preparing a simple delicacy is a burden to you, how prepared are you for this marriage? who told you marriage is a bed of roses where you'll not suffer? if your mum is not passing through some stress, then get prepared to get married to angel Gabriel or Michael . . . .in haven! for there is no marriage without blisters, in an imperfect world.
At age 25, you are still jumping from one man's lap to the other because of peanuts, how prepared are you for this marriage? look you need deliverance from poverty of the brain! at age 25 you don't know how to take care of a home, how prepared are you for this marriage? at age 25, you don't have ANY meaningful skill at all - with or without tertiary education, how prepared are you for this marriage?
At age 25 you still dress shabbily, how prepared are you for this marriage? do you really think any reasonable man will marry you as an harlot or in the garment of harlotry? for crying out loud. . .NO MAN in his reasonable senses wants to marry a Jezebel. . . .yet you don't know this? so tell me, how prepared are you for this marriage? at age 25 you still talk like a parrot? gossip is your stock in trade. . .. sister, wait. . . .you are NOT yet really for this marriage, stop deceiving yourself!
The problem with our sisters is that they fail to realize what is expected of a grown up lady in an ever-reforming society. it is not enough to makeup and look like an angel on the outside but deep inside, you are empty.
You need a soul searching, a U-turn and the time is now! and if you are below 25 reading this, it applies to you too. you are only lucky you read this on time. Don't be a "cheap commodity". Guys and ladies alike will respect you for who you are and how you present yourself. the question however is who are you. And if you fall into the aforementioned categories, sister. . . .YOU ARE A NOBODY!
