INCONVENIENT TRUTH AND THE DEATH OF JESUS

Do you know why Jesus Christ died? It was because of INCONVENIENT TRUTH.

A Jew is reported to have once said that they killed Jesus because he talked too much. Not that what he said was false or bad, at least we can't see an instance where He brought out a chair to sit down and gossip people or ever called people's parents bad names.

So why did they kill Jesus? They said he talked too much. He told them the inconvenient truth they wouldn't want to hear. He would see someone doing what was not right and would rebuke him/her, and they said He talked too much. So they killed Him, to seal up His lips.

Maybe He would have lived long if He kept pleasing everybody, maybe come on Facebook, Instagram or Picassa with a new selfie-photo shot with iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy or even Infinix Note 2. Don't you think He would have received lots of likes, shares, comments and thumps up?

Maybe He would have died an old man if He sang, "show me the money" by Wizkid. Maybe if he was like Linda Ikeji, always updating sweet things on her blog and dissing those she wants, He wouldn't have died young. Had it been he did like Brock Lesner and Dean Ambrose - always getting to the arena and beating up his enemies, he would have won.

Maybe if Jesus was Lionel Messi or C. Ronaldo, always scoring hat tricks for His local FC., He wouldn't have died so young. Do you think Jesus would have died so young if He was to be like Michael Jackson singing Heal the World and 2baba singing True Love? Maybe no.

And would Jesus have died that young if he was like Prof. Woke Soyinka, always advocating and acting the activist? Or as charitable like Gov. Rochas of Imo state in the years before politics or even Gov. Godswill Akpabio while he was still governor of Akwa Ibom State? Oh lest I forget, add Bill Gates to that list. Maybe He would not have died so young if he was any of these, an everyday philanthropist.

He died young. Too bad, yet divine. He told inconvenient truths everywhere he went, had it been he focused on doing good, casting out demons, healing the sick, raising the dead, feeding people whenever they are hungry and making them happy all the time. . . . Maybe He would have lived a bit longer.
